The Rotary Club of Damariscotta-Newcastle has had a Holiday Kettle Drive for many years, collecting money to help combat food insecurity here in Lincoln County Maine. the $5,000 raised in December 2024 was entirely donated to the Ecumenical Food Pantry, Veggies to Table, Farms at the Y, Healthy Lincoln County and Twin Village Food Bank Farm
Many local businesses such as The First of Damariscotta, Bangor Savings, CLC Y, Wealth Management at The First, Newcastle Realty, Bath Savings, Cheney Companies, MaineHealth and Rising Tide volunteer to cover days or shifts, a true community service project.
We will again be on Main Street, Damariscotta, in front of our friends Sherman’s Books, December 8-20 (Monday through Saturday), 9am to3 pm. We look forward to seeing you!
