Bicycle Safety Skills Rodeo organized by Great Salt Bay School bus drivers. For over 20 years, we have conducted this event for students in grades K-3, primarily focusing on children within our school district, including Damariscotta, Newcastle, and Bremen.
Karl's Kids has been extremely generous, donating the helmets, and other local businesses donate bicycles to be raffled.
This year, we are excited to include pre-K students in our program. During the Rodeo, we ensure all kindergarten students and those in need receive a new helmet. The event is scheduled during school hours and aligns with class times”
